Advanced & Precision Psychiatry

Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy & Behavioral Health at OnPoint Integrated Health and Advanced Psychiatry offers evidence-based talk therapy that is fully aligned with your psychiatric and medical care. We work with adults who are carrying chronic stress, trauma histories, anxiety, depression, or relationship strain, and who want therapy that is both compassionate and clinically structured.
Every therapy relationship begins with a focused intake session, where we clarify your goals, current symptoms, and past treatment experiences. We explore how earlier events-including childhood adversity, identity-based discrimination, medical trauma, or relationship betrayal-may still be shaping your nervous system, emotions, and behavior today. Throughout, we move at a pace that respects your boundaries; you are never pushed to disclose more than feels safe.
Our approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, and trauma-focused interventions. That may include identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, practicing emotion regulation and distress-tolerance skills, or carefully processing traumatic memories when you are ready. We also integrate stress management strategies such as grounding, behavioral activation, and sleep hygiene to support day-to-day functioning.
Because therapy is embedded within an integrated psychiatry and primary care setting, your therapist and prescribing clinician can coordinate when you consent-aligning psychotherapy with any medications, addiction treatment, or medical care you may be receiving here. This prevents mixed messages and helps ensure that each component of your care is reinforcing the other.
Our space is explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-informed, designed for adults who may have felt judged or dismissed in prior settings. Whether you are addressing a single recent event or a lifelong pattern of overwhelm, we focus on building practical skills, strengthening resilience, and helping you reclaim a sense of control in your own life.
If you are ready for therapy that honors your history while equipping you for what comes next, we invite you to begin behavioral health care with us.
