Advanced & Precision Psychiatry

Precision Medication Care

Precision Psychiatric Medication Management at OnPoint Integrated Health and Advanced Psychiatry is built for adults who want medication to be thoughtful, data-informed, and as safe as possible over the long term. Led by a Doctor of Nursing Practice with advanced psychiatric and addiction credentials, we approach every prescription as a collaborative, ongoing process-not a one-time decision.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
We begin by reviewing your diagnostic history, prior medication trials, side effects, and current medical conditions. This includes cardiovascular risk factors, sleep, weight, hormones, and other prescriptions that could interact with psychotropic medications. From there, we develop a conservative titration plan with clear target symptoms, dosing schedules, and monitoring intervals so you know exactly what we are watching for and why.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
For appropriate cases, we incorporate GeneSight® pharmacogenomic testing to better understand how your body may metabolize specific antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and other psychiatric medications. While genetics never replace clinical judgment, this additional layer of information can reduce trial-and-error, especially for patients who have struggled with multiple failed or poorly tolerated medications.
Our work together includes psychotropic monitoring, adjustment consultations, and periodic long-term safety reviews. We track blood pressure, weight, metabolic labs, and organ function where indicated, and we regularly reassess whether each medication is still earning its place in your regimen. For adults taking stimulants, benzodiazepines, or other controlled medications, we use structured protocols that prioritize safety, misuse prevention, and regulatory compliance.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
If medication adherence has been difficult, we also help build practical routines and use technology, pharmacy coordination, and behavioral strategies to support consistent use. The goal is straightforward: medications that are evidence-based, clearly justified, and continually re-evaluated in the context of your mental health, physical health, and life goals.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
If you are ready for psychiatric prescribing that is careful, transparent, and grounded in science, we invite you to schedule a medication management visit.
