Addiction Care & Recovery

Substance Use Recovery

Comprehensive Substance Use & Relapse Prevention Care at OnPoint Integrated Health and Advanced Psychiatry is designed for adults whose relationship with substances has become complicated, even if they are still functioning at a high level in work or family life. We bring doctoral-level addiction training to outpatient care so you can stabilize without automatically stepping away from your entire life.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
We begin with a detailed assessment of all substance use-alcohol, opioids, prescription stimulants, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, nicotine, or vaping-as well as sleep, mood, anxiety, trauma, and medical history. This allows us to distinguish dependence, misuse, and harm from occasional use and to design a plan that fits your reality.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
For prescription stimulant or benzodiazepine misuse, we implement structured taper protocols that minimize withdrawal risk and protect work performance and safety-sensitive roles. When indicated, we coordinate with MAT for opioids or alcohol to address overlapping cravings and cross-substitution.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
For methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, and nicotine or vaping, we combine evidence-based pharmacologic options (where appropriate) with behavioral interventions, craving management strategies, and relapse-prevention planning. You will learn concrete skills for managing triggers such as stress, insomnia, social environments, and unstructured time.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Supportive recovery coaching is woven into follow-up visits. We use regular check-ins, urine drug screens when clinically indicated, and written recovery plans to keep everyone aligned. The tone is nonjudgmental and transparent; our goal is to increase safety and function, not shame.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Because we are also a psychiatric practice, co-occurring conditions like ADHD, depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder are treated in the same setting. This unified approach reduces the risk of "symptom chasing" that often leads back to substance use. If you are ready for medically informed, discreet support for substance dependence and relapse prevention, we invite you to schedule an addiction-focused appointment.
